Your WHY will become your “North Star” that will guide you on your fitness journey.
You probably have an idea of what you’re looking for out of a gym. You might fall into the categories we hear most often like, "I want to lose weight", or "I want to build muscle". We love hearing these because our number one goal is to help you be successful. Not only do we want to see you celebrate your successes, we want to provide the best experience possible while we're on this journey together. This journey doesn’t begin being thrown into a personal training session or a group class. We care too much about you as a person to let you be thrown into the fire. Before we prescribe a nutrition or exercise program our first step is to determine your WHY. Why are your goals important to you? What will improve in your life if you achieve your goals? Why does that matter? You may be asking why are we asking these questions? Some people have a hard time getting motivated and staying motivated when they want to make changes in their lives. Most people know they should do something to live healthier lives but lack the motivation to get started. They haven’t done enough self discovery to find out what is actually motivating them. Do they have external pressure from a spouse or do they want to make changes for themselves. This is why it's important to understand your goals and why they're important to you before we can help you achieve them. With a clear "North Star" we know what programs to prescribe and help you stay motivated to reach your goals.
